There was a four year old boy named Tyler who loved race cars. He wanted to drive a race car, but he didn't have one, so he walked instead. One day he walked to the store. It was a long walk.
When Tyler got to the store, he looked at all of the toys. He really liked a really big toy truck that he found, and he also really liked a really big helicopter that he found. The truck was red and the helicopter was blue.
He wanted to buy them, but he didn't have any money. He looked on the floor to see if there was any money that people had dropped, but he didn't find any money. He wasn't able to buy the toy truck and helicopter.
He walked home and told his mommy all about the toys that he wanted, and he asked her if she would buy them for him. She told him that she didn't have any money either. That made him sad, but his mommy told him he should wait and see if he got the toys for his birthday.
When his birthday arrived, his mommy had bought him the big red toy truck and the big blue toy helicopter that he wanted! He was so happy, and he played with them all day!

The Magic Dress
The Magic Dress

Once there was a little English princess named Bella. One day, she found a beautiful dress on the ground outside her castle. She took the dress inside and put it on. It was a magical dress and, when she wore it, she found that she could fly. She flew to America, and in America she bought a wand and a sweetie. Then she flew back to England.
She flew high in the sky and when she looked down, she could see crocodiles way below. She used her wand to bring more fairies to her so she wouldn’t have to fly alone. Before she stopped flying, she flew to a castle and became best friends with another princess named Gabby. She had so much fun in the dress! When she got home, she changed into a normal dress and put the magic dress back on the ground where she found it.

The Bear That Got Stuck In The Woods

Once upon a time, Santa was flying to Alice’s house. Alice always put “teddy bear” on her Christmas list, but she never got one. This time, Santa remembered the teddy bear. Santa’s sack was too heavy to carry, so he tipped the toys onto the roof.
Suddenly the teddy bear tumbled off the roof. The bear fell into the forest and she got stuck in a tree. She looked down. She was too far to jump down. It was a good thing the branches made steps. She climbed down and ran all the way to Alice’s house. She wrapped herself up and crept under the tree.
On Christmas morning, Alice opened her present and then she saw the teddy bear!

The Magic Tree
The Magic Tree

Once in the night, I snuck outside. I went next door to the back garden. I went to the tree that was in the garden. It had doors. I crept inside the very top door. In that door was a panda bear who could speak English.
I said, “Hello,” to him.
He said, “Hello,” back.
The panda bear told me that he had always been very lonely, so he was happy that I came. I knew it was too late for me to be out and I needed to get home, so, after politely chatting with him for a short time, I told the panda bear, “Goodbye.”
I went to the bottom of the tree. I opened the door that was at the very bottom. I saw a different world. There was a sign above the door that said, “Welcome to Fairytale Land.” I said out loud, “Fairytale Land! Wow!” I couldn’t resist entering Fairytale Land, just for a bit before I went back home.
In Fairytale Land, I saw Sleeping Beauty, The Three Little Pigs and Jack and Jill.
I heard my mom calling for me, but I couldn’t see the door I had come through, so I asked Jack and Jill the way out of Fairytale Land. But they didn’t know the way out.
So I went to the Three Little Pigs’ house and asked them how to get out of Fairytale Land. They said that they only knew how to go through Fairytale Land, not how to leave.
I then went to Sleeping Beauty and asked her the way out of Fairytale Land. She said, “I don’t know, but Prince Phillip does,” and she took me to Prince Phillip.
Prince Phillip knew the way back to the door in the tree that led out of Fairytale Land, and he showed me the way.
When I got out, I ran back into my house. I went to bed, and I wondered when I would go to Fairytale Land or visit a different door in the magic tree again.

A Good Summer With Teddy
A Good Summer With Teddy

One day, I was going to the beach for the whole summer. I had to pack loads of clothes and things. I didn’t forget to bring my teddy bear. His name was Teddy, and he was very special to me. When it was time to go, we took a truck to the beach, because we had lots of boxes of our things to bring with us for the summer.
It took four hours to get there. During those four hours, I did some drawing and I played with Teddy and some of my other toys. I also read a book that took me a whole hour to read.
When I got to the beach, we parked the truck and then had to walk a small distance to the hotel. The hotel manager said we had to go to room 616 on the top floor. We opened the door, and we unpacked our things. It took us a whole afternoon to unpack out things.
After we unpacked our things, I picked up Teddy and he was alive! I was very surprised to see him moving on his own! He spoke to me and we had a long chat. He explained that sometimes on very special days during the summer toys can come alive.
We went to the beach again, and we started to build sand castles. When it was 7:00pm, we went back to the hotel because it was bed time. It was a wonderful day playing with Teddy on the beach, and I hoped that he would be able to come alive again someday.

There was a little fairy named Lea who wanted to fly like the other fairies, but couldn’t because she had no wings. Another fairy who did have wings lifted her up and flew her around.
She loved being flown through the air, but she wanted to be able to fly without help.
She asked other fairy how she got her wings. The other fairy said, “I have several pairs. I’m the Wing Fairy, and I am the one who gives other fairies their wings.”
The Wing Fairy found a pair of wings for Lea and put them on her. And then little fairy Lea could fly! She flapped her wings and flew high in the sky. She was happy.

The Mermaid & The Boy
The Mermaid & The Boy

There was a pretty mermaid named Jackie and she saw a boy sleeping on the beach. The ocean’s waves were getting closer to him. The ocean wanted to sweep him away, but she didn’t want him to drown. She couldn’t go on the beach so she sang a song to wake him up.
She sang the “Happy Birthday” song but with different words. She sang,
“You are asleep,
And the ocean
Is coming.
You are asleep,
But you need to
Wake up soon.”
He woke up and saw the waves getting close to him. He stood up, but slipped as the water reached his feet and fell into the water. The ocean’s waves quickly tried to pull him out to sea.
As he swam back to shore, he saw the pretty mermaid Jackie and he knew it had been her song that woke him up and saved him from being swept out to sea while he slept. He never forgot her.
